Sedna - Expressive Feminine Portrait - Original

In my painting Sedna, a serene yet powerful profile emerges from a sweep of turquoise and deep navy, as if she is a goddess rising from the watery depths of the sea.  Her eyes are softly closed, and coral tones warm her face, giving her a surreal and magical beauty.

Loose, expressive brushwork and scattered paint splashes give the portrait a sense of watery movement against the pale background. The use of striking but limited colours throughout and the contrasting calm expression of the subject will add a distinctive artistic accent to your space.
